Logan and Kyle booked their Elopement Package through Intimate Weddings of Tampa, and chose Kiley Garden in Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park in Downtown Tampa as the site for their intimate wedding ceremony in September. However, heavy rain, lightening and thunder hindered plans for their morning ceremony … so Water Taxi Station #12 was a shelter from the rain, and served as their ceremony spot.
Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park attracts over one million people annually, and is a place to meet and enjoy Tampa’s waterfront on the Hillsborough River. Some of its features include a great sloped lawn, splash pads, a playground, dog run and a boat dock and water taxi spot. It is also centrally located along Downtown Tampa’s Riverwalk and serves as a hub for art, restaurants, performances, fitness and more.
The couple’s custom ceremony in the waterfront park included the Blessing of the Hands. Then, with a rainy view of the Hillsborough River and the University of Tampa, the couple shared their vows, exchanged rings and were pronounced husband and wife by Rev Rick Lackore of Sensational Ceremonies.
Special thanks to Tammy, with True Love Photography, for providing this beautiful picture during their ceremony at the waterfront park.
Congratulations
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Miller!
